About Me
My name is Sarah Yenkevich and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio. I opened Sun Counseling Services in October 2019. Where does the name come from you ask? Well it actually has several meanings to me and I thought it seemed fitting as a representation of life, strength, and balance. It is the center of our universe and rises everyday. It reminded me of humans and the struggle they endure throughout their lives. But even through the darkest nights the sun will rise again. Just like us. Every day we rise is a chance to change our lives. One thing that has changed my life is my German Shepard, Samson. It is hard to put into words about how much he means to me. But his unconditional love and loyalty has truly changed my life. So you can imagine how happy I was when I came to find out that Samson is derived from the Hebrew word “semes” which means Sun. So it was like everything came full circle for me and the name of my practice has more meaning to me then you could ever imagine. I opened this practice because I truly enjoy helping people. I realize that everyone has there own path in life and faces there own struggles. I am here to help you through that. I am specialized in working with people who are suffering from depression, anxiety and trauma. My treatment plans are individualized and unique to suit your needs.
