Furry Friend Flynn visited Wednesday and spread wiggles and created smiles for all. While Flynn wiggled, he was thrilled with being petted by everyone! We love our Furry Friend visitors.

Honoring Our Veterans! In celebration of Veterans Day (November 11th), we were proud to host a special recognition event with Sanctuary Hospice and a visit from Rosie the Riveter (our own Jeanne Onuska).

Our celebration included:
1. ✨ Recognizing our in-house Veterans with door displays and at lunch
2. 🎖️ A pinning and thank-you ceremony led by Sanctuary Hospice officials
3. 👩‍🏭 A lively Rosie the Riveter re-enactment and discussion about women’s roles in the workforce during the war.

Sanctuary Hospice graciously presented plaques of appreciation to each Veteran, we provided gift bags, and our residents contributed heartfelt handmade thank-you cards. We capped off the day with red, white, and blue cookies and refreshments while Rosie inspired us all with her message of strength and service.
Thank you to everyone who made this day so meaningful, including Sanctuary Hospice (Laurie Brindza and Community Liaison Joe), Symphony At Mentor’s Jeanne Onuska (Rosie), the families that attended — and most of all, to our Veterans for their service. ❤️🤍💙

Our Veterans day plans: Our Making Memories event is Veterans Day celebration on Veterans day, November 11th. We will be hosting:
 Recognizing Veterans internally on their doors and at lunch
 Pinning and thank you recognition service by officials from Sanctuary Hospice, at 2p.m.
 Rosie the Riveter re-enactment
Veterans families are welcome to attend the 2pm event but please RSVP.
