Our FIRST movie day on our brand new Walmart HDMI/ROKU cinematic 58” TV experience is a game-changer! We enjoyed remastered classic Disney SNOW WHITE and it was lovely. Everyone enjoyed popcorn and treats and thoroughly enjoyed hearing and seeing the movie together!

Watching Snow White on a 58” screen with crisp remastered visuals must’ve felt like stepping right into the enchanted forest. There's something timeless about that film—the music, the animation, the charm of the characters—and experiencing it together with family makes it even more special. Did you all have a favorite moment from the movie? The forest animals? The dwarfs’ song? Or maybe the iconic apple scene? Like, loving “Whistle While You Work” and "Hi Ho It's Off To Work We Go"!.

🐾 Making Memories with Mentor Police K9 Unit 🐾

Today’s visit from the Mentor Police Department and their K9 partners was truly unforgettable. Officers Terry Wurgler and Bill Mackey introduced us to two remarkable working German Shepherds—Aries and Bak—who stole the show with their skill, discipline, and gentle demeanor.

The presentation exceeded all expectations. Residents were thrilled to not only watch these highly trained dogs in action but also to interact with them up close. Aries and Bak demonstrated their ability to locate a target and “alert,” showcasing the precision and teamwork that make them invaluable to the force.

We are deeply grateful to the Mentor Police officers and their K9 companions for taking the time to visit and share their work with us. Your dedication and service are appreciated more than words can express.

The Symphony At Mentor just got a major upgrade in movie magic—going from a cozy 28” screen to a cinematic 58” experience is a game-changer!

We’re feeling grateful and refreshed after a delightful Friday Cocktail Hour, generously sponsored by our wonderful partners at Sanctuary Hospice. They treated us to a cheerful lemonade social paired with delicious donuts, bringing smiles all around.

To top it off, the incredibly talented Doreen Hoge transformed our beloved piano into a concert-worthy centerpiece with her classic performance. Her music filled the room with warmth and elegance.

It was a truly special time of connection, joy, and community. Thank you, Sanctuary Hospice, for your kindness and support!

LUAU ON OUR MIND. We were thrilled to host the talented one-man band Tom Todd for the very first time at Symphony At Mentor! With his lively Ukele Island performance and festive Luau theme, Tom brought the spirit of the tropics right to our community.

Guests sipped on fruity, umbrella-topped beverages 🍹, sang along to their favorite summer tunes 🎤, and soaked up the sunny vibes. Tom’s energy and charm had everyone smiling, dancing, and asking for more!

He did a fantastic job—and we’re already looking forward to having him back!🌺
