Behavioral Wellness Group The Behavioral Wellness Group is a private, outpatient practice in Mentor, OH that offers psychother The ultimate goal is to provide you a path to wellness.

Most therapies pursue the identifying problem without providing their clients sufficient skills and tools to handle that problem. So, first, we give you the therapeutic tools to work through the challenges that brought you to us. Then, we sort through the issues – with new tools at your side – to help you manage and process your emotions and behaviors in a healthy way. We help you shift your focus

to positive, healthy thoughts and behaviors, by giving you the skills to actively improve your situation. You will learn how to control the negative thoughts and emotions in your life and develop effective replacements that will have a positive impact on your life. Our therapy is tailored for you. Since no two individuals are the same, no two treatment plans are the same. Our clients are given hope and trust that their situation can improve. With effective tools and skills in place, we will help you improve the quality of your life.

We want to highlight the need for Mental Health care for Veterans.

Some of the issues/symptoms that Veterans experience include depression, PTSD, SUD, TBI, Anxiety, and Insomnia. Veterans are at a higher risk for PTSD than civilians. Data from the RAND Center for Military Health Policy Research shows that less than half of Veterans in need of mental health services receive treatment.

We want to change that! We want all Veterans to know YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! We see you; we care and want to help.

Please reach out to your VA P*P to request a referral to our facility. We have therapists that do take VA insurance, and we have in-person and virtual services available.

We are currently accepting new clients into our 8-week programs, which meet three times per week.

Sometimes, our emotions, feelings, and stress can feel overwhelming. It's helpful to remember to tell ourselves, "I let go of things I cannot control. I need to focus my energy on the things I can control."

As we continue to learn and improve our mental health, this practice becomes easier with time. We'll learn to focus our energy on what truly matters to us, which in turn improves how we respond to others and reduces our stress, leading to better mental well-being.
