Behavioral Wellness Group The Behavioral Wellness Group is a private, outpatient practice in Mentor, OH that offers psychother The ultimate goal is to provide you a path to wellness.

Most therapies pursue the identifying problem without providing their clients sufficient skills and tools to handle that problem. So, first, we give you the therapeutic tools to work through the challenges that brought you to us. Then, we sort through the issues – with new tools at your side – to help you manage and process your emotions and behaviors in a healthy way. We help you shift your focus to positive, healthy thoughts and behaviors, by giving you the skills to actively improve your situation. You will learn how to control the negative thoughts and emotions in your life and develop effective replacements that will have a positive impact on your life. Our therapy is tailored for you. Since no two individuals are the same, no two treatment plans are the same. Our clients are given hope and trust that their situation can improve. With effective tools and skills in place, we will help you improve the quality of your life.

The Behavioral Wellness Group has an In-Person group therapy program for adults.

We meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30am to 12:30pm at our office in Mentor, OH.

We offer tools, to improve your distress tolerance, emotion regulation, mindfulness, relationships, self-compassion and more. We use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in this evidence-based program.

This group is held in an accepting and non-judgmental environment.

The Behavioral Wellness Group (located in Mentor, OH) offers student training program opportunities to gain experience working in a group setting that provides intensive training. Depending on their previous clinical experience and practicum needs, our trainees have the chance to work with children/adolescents, families, and adults in the following modalities: intake/assessment, intensive psychological testing, individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Additional training experiences include individual and group supervision, participation in clinical team meetings, and didactic training in areas of assessment as well as treatment modalities. Each trainee develops an individualized training plan in collaboration with their primary supervisor to ensure training experiences match training goals.

• Pre-Doctoral Practicum Positions
• Pre-Doctoral Internship Positions
• Post-Doctoral Psychology Fellows
• Masters Mental Health Counseling Practicum and Internship
• Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Preceptorships

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS for the Daytime DBT Intensive Outpatient Program.

This is an 8-week virtual program for adults 18 years and older with symptoms that are disruptive to their lives. This program can be started at any time. The skills are taught in an accepting, nonjudgmental, validating environment. Formulate a life worth living!

This program helps with:

• Manage Depression
• Manage Anxiety
• Manage Bipolar Disorder
• Trauma or Abuse Survivors
• Personality Disorders
• Manage Constant Negative Thoughts
• Manage Social Isolation
• Self Harming Behaviors or Thoughts

This program will offer tools using DBT and CBT skills to improve emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, mindfulness and build mastery.
