As some of you have already noticed, I’ve upgraded my software platform to help streamline the appointments and booking experience. You will now receive a text and/or email (based on how you have your profile set up for notifications) requesting you to confirm your appointment 4 days ahead of time. You will also receive a text and email reminder 24 hours in advance. The only change is that you’ll be receiving an automated message instead of hearing directly from me. When booking new appointments you will be asked to enter a credit card number to keep on file. This card will be used for the required fee for last-minute cancellations and rescheduled appointments.
Friendly reminder about that policy…. A 24-hour advance cancellation/ reschedule notice is required to avoid being charged 50% for the cost of your reserved service(s). No shows will be responsible for 100% of the reserved service(s).
I hope you all understand that when an appointment cancels last minute, I’m left scrambling to refill that slot. That time was reserved just for you. These policies exist to protect my business, not to punish anyone. Most appointment-based businesses carry similar policies.
I’m hoping these changes will make things more efficient for you and create more work/life balance for me. As well as allow me to recharge my own batteries outside of my hands-on time with all of you.
