🌟 Staff Appreciation Day at Concord Ridge 🌟

In honor of Staff Appreciation Day, our team enjoyed a boxed lunch from Panera Bread along with a Concord Ridge goodie bag as a small token of our gratitude.

We want to sincerely thank each and every member of our staff for the compassion, dedication, and hard work you show every single day. The care and support you provide to our residents—and to one another—never go unnoticed. Your commitment truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Today, Concord Ridge partnered with Concord Fire & Emergency Services to review emergency plans and walk through the process and procedures in the unlikely event we would ever need to evacuate.

The safety of our residents and staff is always our top priority, and we truly believe you can never be too prepared.

A heartfelt thank you to the Concord Fire Department for your continued support and for everything you do to keep our building and community safe. We appreciate you!

Today was truly bittersweet as we celebrated Christa F., our Director of Nursing 💙

Christa has been part of the FHS family since 2007 and most recently has led the team here at Concord Ridge with strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Under her leadership, our building has grown, strengthened, and moved confidently in a positive direction. Her work ethic, commitment to quality care, and ability to guide her team through both challenges and successes have made a lasting impact.

As she transitions to another Foundations building to serve as their DON, we are incredibly proud—though so sad to see her go. We know she will be an absolute rock star in her new role, just as she has been here.

We celebrated her today with Mission BBQ, gifts, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation for everything she has poured into Concord Ridge. Thank you, Christa, for your leadership and devotion. You will be deeply missed, but we can’t wait to see you shine in this next chapter!

Our residents had a wonderful time channeling their inner artists today in our latest painting session! The theme was "Love Birds," and as you can see, the creativity and love were definitely in the air. 🐦💕

Yesterday we had the chance to celebrate Beth, our Administrator, and make her birthday a little extra special. 🎉🎂

Beth gives so much of herself to our team and our residents every single day, and it meant a lot to take time to celebrate her. We enjoyed a homemade lunch and a delicious birthday cake made with care by our Dietary Manager, Yvonne. It was a small way to show our appreciation for all that Beth does. Happy Birthday, Beth—we’re so grateful for you!

🌟 Employee of the Month – January 🌟

Concord Ridge proudly recognizes Dave Czaplicki! Dave is our January Employee of the Month, and we are proud to recognize him for his dedication and positive impact at Concord Ridge. He truly loves working with people and residents and enjoys building meaningful relationships with everyone he meets.

Dave has been cooking for nearly 30 years, with his passion for food beginning at a young age—starting with scrambled eggs, which he was famously told were the best! Since 2000, he has been cooking professionally, bringing care and consistency into every meal he prepares.
Our Kitchen Manager shared that Dave is very efficient and an amazing addition to our team. His strong work ethic and genuine care for residents make him a valued member of our Concord Ridge family.

As we inch closer to Christmas, our building is truly coming alive with the spirit of the season. The trees look absolutely beautiful for our residents, sparkling reminders of joy, warmth, and togetherness. Laughter and cheer are being shared around every corner—from spontaneous dances in the halls to the familiar sound of “Let It Snow” echoing throughout the building.

It’s moments like these that make this season so special, and we’re so grateful to celebrate it together. ❤️❄️
