Whoâs in this space right now?
This space can bring up a lot of emotion; grief, guilt, shame, and sometimes just pure exhaustion.
But I also want to remind you of how POWERFUL this space is.
Youâre beginning to really SEE yourself, situations, patterns, and others with more nuance and depth.
Youâre beginning to access different parts of yourself that have been quiet for a long time.
To see things that you once blended with.
Youâre beginning to outgrow your old shell.
And that feels really uncomfortable because our brains like patterns and routine and safety because they keep us alive *right now,* even if those patterns and routines are slowly killing us in the long run.
But remember that that discomfort is a GOOD THING.
This in-between is a necessary step to get to the safety and comfort of new patterns and routines that bring you REAL safety, inner calm, and self-trust. (my workshop folk know this is stage 2!)
This next stage, creating the new patterns, does require you to do the work of trying new things on for size & paying attention to how they feel to YOU. It requires teaching your brain through practice and repetition that we can find safety in connection, through vulnerability, and by listening to our own intuition. It requires allowing yourself to sit with discomfort and change your inner narrative to help you learn how to feel your feelings and move through difficult moments, instead of avoiding them.
