You can still drop off new toys and/or clothes to our location that will help brighten someone’s holiday this year. Donations are going to children in custody of Lake County Child Services. For every toy you drop off to our salon you will receive a ticket to be entered into our holiday raffle. Raffle prizes include a Dyson hair dryer, Aveda product basket, salon service package, and a custom piece of jewelry made by Brandon Holschuch. Raffle winners will be pulled January 3rd, 2020.

The Mentor Matchworks Second Annual Halloween Party is happening from 1 - 6 PM on Oct. 26. It's a blast for the whole family! We'll have food trucks on site, trick-or-treating throughout our historic building, and tons of other activities such as a bounce house, a magician, balloon animal making, and a craft station.

Our own Matchworks artist Beth Lynne from Beth Lynne Studio initiated Mentor's first major public art project, "Mentor Rocks the Bears" featuring her "Terre Bear" shown here located in our atrium, along with 9 other bears created by Lake County artists which are displayed at various locations in Mentor this summer.
Stop by to visit Terre Bear and take your photos with him to post , and you can see more of Beth's art in the left side of the atrium in suite 104.

Tomorrow at Matchworks 6-9pm; "Summer Fun" Second Fridays at the Matchworks, featuring the music of Flat Ocean on our outdoor stage, "Baseball" theme art opening at Stella's Art Gallery, "Terre Bear" public art from Beth Lynne Studio, Awesome food from Mobite Products Vegan Foods and Baked Goods food truck, and so much more~

Are you ready for our "Summer Fun" second Fridays at the Matchworks event tomorrow? From 6-9pm, enjoy music from Matchworks favorite band on our outdoor patio; Flat Ocean, as well as an art opening at Stella's Art Gallery, "Baseball" theme, and an opportunity to meet and take selfies with "Terre Bear" public art sculpture created by Beth Lynne Studio. Other businesses will have specials that night, and the popular Mobite Products Vegan Foods and Baked Goods food truck will be there with an awesome menu of Mac n cheese, ribs and broccoli slaw, phillly chicken, and creamy raw kale salad (all plant based)
