is a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in Arizona*. He currently works as a Naturopathic provider with Lake Health Integrative Medicine in Mentor, Ohio. He previously served as Adjunct Professor and clinical faculty at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center and has completed two years of residency in Naturopathic family medicine. He
is the only Naturopathic doctor in Ohio who has completed a multi-year CNME sponsored residency. Jacob is president of the Ohio Naturopathic Doctors Association (OHNDA). OHNDA educates Ohio residents about naturopathic medicine, supports naturopathic doctors who are practicing in Ohio, and works to advance naturopathic licensure for graduates of accredited naturopathic schools. He uses a variety of methods to promote health including nutrition, homeopathy, and both western and Traditional Chinese herbs. Jacob has a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and has received his Masters in Oriental Medicine and is a licensed acupuncture and Oriental medicine provider in Ohio and a nationally board certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)®. Jacob wanted to be a doctor from a young age and learned about Naturopathic medicine while receiving his bachelor's degree in Biobehavorial Health at Penn State. Before medical school, he spent 7 years working in the outdoor adventure field helping kids and adults explore the outdoors. He continues to enjoy the outdoors and spends his free time exploring nature with his family and practicing photography.
