We can meet at my yoga studio, a serene intimate space, or I can come to you. My classes are based on the standard Vinyasa Flow, but each with a different twist, depending on what you and your body are in the mood for that day....
Sample offerings:
*Vinyasa Flow* | a flow-based energizing practice combining a series of yoga postures with fluid transitions, all synced with the breath, including a fun and challenging balancing series and dynamic core work, all designed to build up energy and leave you feeling perfectly balanced inside and out. Because the pace is fast and because no two Vinyasa classes follow the exact same choreography, they make for unique and challenging practices
* Slow Flow Vinyasa* | think Vinyasa Flow on CBD, a bit more mellow. The slower pace allows for more individual access into and exploration of each posture and the transitions. Equally good for newer students looking to build confidence and gain familiarity, as well as more experienced students looking to go back to basics to refine foundational elements
* Power Vinyasa * | a flow-based strength-building, heart-pumping practice that seamlessly incorporates a full-body workout using the asanas to build focus, endurance and flexibility. The pace is steady which makes a practice that is fluid and will leave you feeling invigorated and energized
* Hatha Vinyasa * | a Vinyasa flow with a bit less flow & a bit more emphasis on active holds in each asana & a deeper inquiry into the anatomy behind the poses. A good class for those new to yoga or looking for a way to ease back into the practice. These classes are designed to develop your strength, flexibility, comfort and stamina as you challenge yourself
* Yin Yoga * | a slow meditative practice, these classes emphasize holding individual floor asanas for several minutes at a time, using props, and allowing major muscle groups of the entire body deeply stretch, open and release. The prolonged period of physical stillness can be used at your discretion, for either inward-directed self-meditation, meditation guided by me, or readings. Students of this restorative practice regularly report fewer injuries, improved sleep, and reduced aches and pains. It's a great antidote to stress and best done at the end of the day
All classes are designed to deliver a full-body sensory experience, and can last anywhere from 60-75 minutes. The studio is gently-warmed (As one student commented: "I like that the classes are delightfully warm, but not too hot." They're always guided and led by me, and I always begin with breathwork and centering and end with a cool-down and Savasana. My practices are very grounding because of the emphasis on breath, mindfulness, and connection to the earth that I intertwine throughout each practice. The space is an intimate, unfussy, serene studio that incorporates hardwood floors and natural light, and is uniquely situated in a residential neighborhood in the heart of mequon. Complimentary mats and bottled flat/ bubbly water and tea always provided. Pricing and packages make this one of the best-valued yoga in the area!
