Back in Balance Bodyworks LLC

Back in Balance Bodyworks LLC Offering integrative massage and bodywork I am located in the beautiful Colour Bowl Salon and Wellness Spa! The ways in which to do this are endless.

My name is Jenna Frank, and I am a nationally certified, Wisconsin licensed massage therapist. I graduated from Blue Sky School of Professional Massage and Bodywork in 2012, where I focused my studies on medical massage therapy, namely Neuromuscular Therapies. After I realized massage therapy was a true passion, I decided I wanted to incorporate my love for animals into my work also. I studied canine massage with Companion Animal Touch & Therapies, and became an equine sports massage therapist through Therasage EMC. Most of us are looking for ways to bring some balance back into our lives. However, most of us ignore the obvious fact that our bodies are struggling to find balance too. Whether you are suffering from stress, overworked muscles, chronic tension, or recovering from injuries, I will work with you to reach your goals through therapeutic and relaxation massage techniques. As we are each individuals, I will customize your massage session to meet both your immediate and long term needs. I look forward to bringing a much desired balance back into your life by healing your body, mind, and soul!

I'm looking forward to being able to attend summer events, adventure out in nature, and spending more time with my family. Because "life moves pretty fast, and if you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you might miss it".

I apologize for any inconvenience! I will do my best to get you scheduled during my weekly hours.

Lemonade for a Cause 2024!

If any of you are in the Grafton area today, stop out at the lemonade stand on the corner of Falls rd and Shasta Ave from 1pm-330pm. There are two young girls raising money for two great causes in our community: The Grafton K- Foundation and Ozaukee Family Sharing.

These girls have done amazing things in the past for these causes and they need your help reaching their goals this year! Stop out, grab some lemonade, and leave a donation if your heart desires!

I rest. I take breaks. I listen to my body when it's screaming....Wrong! I didn't.

It wasn't until I got a chronic illness that forced me to give up my busy productive life for one of rest did I really start to reflect on how toxic our culture is.

We are all told that we have to work hard, maximize our time, fill our schedules, forget sleep, eat on the go, get allllll the things done every day no matter what it takes. Go go go! No excuses! If you fail, you're not trying hard enough. Our society tells us our worth is based off our achievements.

Now there are times when life throws you curveballs and maybe we have to go into survival mode for a bit. I've been there several times. The problem is we don't make ourselves a priority when in survival mode. Or, we never actually come out of it and it becomes a pattern. We crash and burn. I am definitely guilty of that.

We ignore our needs and dismiss our limitations. We ignore everything our body is trying to tell us until it's too late and our bodies force us to rest.

It's time we give ourselves permission to be human. Sometimes we need a break, and that's ok! It's ok to put yourself closer to the top of that priority list. After what I've experienced this year, I am definitely approaching life from a different perspective.

Slow down!! REST when you need to. Say no. Set boundaries. Ask for help. Create a life you actually enjoy. Find happiness in the little things. Be more present in the moment. Listen to your body.

Choose YOU. Your nervous system will thank you!

I know how busy everyone's schedules can get at this time. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appt, that's ok!!

But please, if you know your circumstances ahead of time, try to give me 24 hrs notice of your cancelation. Don't wait until 2 hours before your appt to tell me you need to cancel ( unless it's something you can't control like illness or emergencies). You know I'm very understanding in those situations.

Every late cancel results in me not having enough time to fill your spot with someone patiently waiting on my cancelation list.

Thank you! Now let's all try and enjoy this holiday season!

This weekend I'm going to be focusing on recovery. I've been back in the saddle with more intensity and duration and my body is feeling it! I plan to say thank you to my body with some stretching and mobility, a salt bath, breathwork, and of course all the time outside I can get!

How are you going to recover from your week?

It doesn't have to be recovery from physical activity. It can be recovery from a long week at work, or the piles of stress thrown at you on the daily. It's so important to hold space for yourself and show your body some gratitude. Listen to what it has to say and start prioritizing some much needed recovery time.

Happy weekend! Enjoy the summery weather coming our wayโ˜€๏ธ

Hi! It's me. Just wanted to let you all know that I'm SLOWLY getting back into the studio! So far so good! I am feeling a whole lot better and I am so excited to get my hands on some bodies!

I am easing into things and I'll do my best to get everyone back on the schedule. However, my health is super important and I am not trying to rush things. Just going with the flow at this point! What a journey of learning and discovery it's been though.

Hoping to be more present on here with some content in the near future. I have such a love/hate relationship with social media๐Ÿ˜œ

See you all soon! And again, thanks for all the love and support along the way๐Ÿ’š

In order for my schedule to not get out of hand for when I'm ready to come back to work, I'm temporarily closing online booking past September.

I have zero idea what my body is going to be ready for, considering I'm losing all my strength and endurance from not being able to do anything.

I'm going to have to go with the flow and figure things out as I go ๐Ÿ™ƒ Thank you to everyone who continues to send me love and support. I'll be back guys, promise. ๐Ÿ’š
