This is very important information and I know the BoS meetings are at a time when so many of us cannot attend. thank you to Jazz for sending me these!!! sharing so we can all stay informed. this will affect every single person in , whether you use these social services or not!!!!!

Please, if you don't understand how funding cuts will affect you, start learning!!! we will need to be strong allies for EVERYONE in our communities. we need to come together now more than ever, forget your political affiliation, be a good neighbor and fight for those who don't have as much as you - whether they're democrat, undocumented, republican, gay, trans etc etc.

This week Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria held a Coffee Meet-and-Greet in The City of Atwater. it was a huge turnout! 🏆 The event was held at Copper Wings Cafe on, Broadway right down the street from my house 🏡 🥰 And the Cafe was presented with a Certificate from Assemblymember Soria 📜

Unfortunately my stay was very short, because I brought my kids 😆 they wanted a little treat - it had been their first day of school! so we made our way, snaking through the crowd to the counter, ordered and stuffed our faces with chocolate caramel beignets, and then the "I wanna go hooooommmeeee" whine started. but if I wouldn't have stopped by Alex Carrillo would have disowned me as a friend 😝😆🥰

today is the launch of the Nurture & Nourish Workshop: The Power of Breastfeeding! (despite the name, I am not the creator/facilitator! lol) To kick us off we are having a meet and greet with local Mariposa perinatal health and breastfeeding support professionals. This will be a great place to connect with the folks who are available to support you through pregnancy and postpartum!

I'm so proud of our breastfeeding support group growth. This will be third group that has been started since I began the Merced Breastfeeding Cafe as a volunteer in 2018!! I now facilitate the Los Banos group which meets every Tuesday and I'm so excited to support Mariposa behind the scenes and attend this meet and greet today 🥰🤱🏽👩🏽‍🍼

happy national cat day!!! the trio is headed to tonight and they are ready to find their furever homes 🤩🤩 Smokee (all grey) is so playful, he loves interacting with humans, loves chasing a laser and even plays soccer! Tilly (white and grey) is our pretty princess! she loves to snuggle!! Tux (black and white) is the shy boi. he is still the most skittish and most prone to hide until he's comfortable. he will need time to warm up to a new family!! all three are full of kitten energy, but do well with redirection (for example: jumping on tables/countertops).

all three babies have grown up with my very active family and get along great with our older cats and my two energetic sons!!! especially Smokee, he would do good with an active family! They are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. $70 adoption fee. Go see them at Petco in Atwater - they will be there tonight by 7pm.
