It is with a heavy heart that I share that today is Amanda’s last day ….

As she embarks on new adventures, I want to share a few thoughts…

Amanda has always been the lifeline of MOCI. We opened the practice together in 2009, and through the years, Amanda took the reins and managed the practice with such intensity and loyalty. She has been the trusted and guiding light ✨ for SO many of our patients and their families, but mostly for me.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude and love for this lady. She has gifted me with her trust, kindness, hardwork, dedication, and her friendship. She has been the star of MOCI, and she will truly be missed by me and everyone who has known her through the office.

Amanda… you are beautiful beyond words and I love you! I’m sure I speak for all of us….
WE WILL MISS YOU!

💫 The greatest joy in my career has been the countless moments of helping usher many women over the years into motherhood.

There have been many long, sleepless nights, leaving the hospital as the sun was rising, and gearing up for another day at the office without a wink of sleep…

…but when in the moment, that absolute joy of holding that beautiful baby, (or two, or three!) and the thrill of handing the baby to mom…it’s a moment of pure love ♥️.

My life has been blessed 🙏🏼 with all of the women who trusted me to help them become moms…

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who celebrates a mother or mother-figure💕, and a special shout-out to all my patients who have given me so much in return🥰. I am a mother a 1000x over because of all of you😘

It has been a year of change, renewal, transition, and expansion. However, what DID NOT change was my commitment to provide the most comprehensive women’s health care here in Merced.
 
I have been a strong advocate for patient autonomy. I have learned in my 15-year career, how vital it is to provide a safe, respectful place for growth and healing. My mission: to nurture and guide women of all ages to navigate their health journeys.

Last year, I expanded my practice to include medical aesthetics. I had no idea this would be so well received. Bringing the most updated medical aesthetics services to Merced allowed me to provide more personal care choices to everyone. I also realized we were all aging together. I, too, was feeling the need for something else to help find balance and vitality as I aged.  I also realized there was inadequate mid-life women’s care in our community. So many women have been searching for a provider who would validate the changes they were experiencing and help them find solutions to feel better through the transition of their bodies.  Thus, in the spirit of providing women’s wellness care, I am focused on providing the much needed mid-life care.

I am grateful to my small but mighty staff of women: a Women’s Health NP, a Registered Nurse, a Certified Massage Therapist, a veteran Aesthetician and Medical Biller, and the most loyal Medical Assistant who runs our office seamlessly. 
Moreover, I collaborated with other female-owned business owners and non-profit organizations. I am grateful for their warm camaraderie.  I look forward to work with these women and support other female-run entities so that we may grow Merced together.

And so, I know that by truly listening, I learn more about you—women who have a story. Women who are seeking balance, respect compassion, and validity, and who are reaching out for connection. Thank you for trusting me with your story; for holding me accountable to educate you; and for giving me the privilege of caring for you.

Here’s to 2023 and the potential it holds for all of us. 
I wish everyone a year of growth, renewal, and joy.

Today, we remember the spirit of the season: giving, gratitude, & generosity♥️

invites you to participate in by supporting your non-profit organizations of choice. They rely heavily on donations to continue their mission to improve the lives of their communities.

If you would like to donate locally, has the privilege this year to collaborate with to promote their “Christmas with Dignity” campaign.

By donating new items, LifeLine CDC is able to stock their community “stores” where items can be purchased at discounted prices. Individuals, parents and families can buy affordable gifts of their choice for their loved ones.

Donations will be accepted at the MOCI Wellness office Nov 30th through Dec 15th. While gently used items will be accepted, new items are preferable.
