🙌🏻 two hands up for this little one’s very first chiropractic appointment today 🙌🏻 🌟 (swipe to see her Karate kick for joy)
This little cutie came in with mom today with being only 13 days out the womb ! Which makes her my youngest patient to date 💕🥰
I checked her out to ensure she was moving well after birth and she is not only adorable and content, but also strong 😊
Every birth and every baby is different. Sometimes the birthing process can cause some strains on the baby’s body and a little chiropractic can help ensure any birth strains do not hinder development in any way.
Baby’s care - full assessment and muscle release for one sided neck & shoulder tension from coming out the birth canal slightly awkwardly
Mom’s care - reassessment, full spine adjustment, work on neck & chest and especially her pelvis, exercises to help with tightness from breastfeeding/baby holding .
These appointments can be a whole family affair with Dad joining too and them distracting and comforting baby as I work. I tend to carve a good chunk of time for this in my schedule so that these first appointments aren’t rushed and we can catch up about their birth story, parenting and how the family unit is doing as a whole to ensure I get a full picture of their lives and see if any other services should be recommend to help family and baby thrive. 💜
