The Lakes at Jefferson is a premier resort-style facility offering Independent Living and Personal Care. The Lakes at Jefferson was constructed from the ground up and opened in May of 2017. As a brand-new facility, it features all of the best amenities giving the facility the feel of a luxury resort. On the ground floor it houses 22 independent living apartments, each with a fully equipped kitchenette and private bathroom, and on the second floor, 43 personal care studios that are staffed 24-hours a day by a fully trained personal care staff. The grounds feature 24 picturesque acres of woods and fields, with 2 lakes, a fishing pond, a koi pond, and a large patio with fire pit. Independent living residents have full access to their apartments from the parking area and patio via private entrances. The Personal Care floor is fully staffed to offer as much or as little care as a resident may want or need, at NO ADDITIONAL COST FOR LEVELS OF CARE. Our dedicated staff helps residents enjoy their greatest level of independence. Friends and family are always welcome and a full schedule of daily activities is offered. All activities are designed to meet each individual’s needs based on interests, physical and emotional needs, and daily schedule. Examples include but are not limited to religious services, outside recreation, community entertainer visits, word and memory games, exercise programs, arts and crafts, music, sports, pet therapy, and bingo. Our two dining rooms offer delicious meals prepared daily by our award-winning in-house chefs. Menus are provided daily with multiple options to give everyone a choice they will like. Residents are encouraged to join together in the dining rooms for meals. Independent Living residents are able to cook in their rooms, which include a refrigerator and microwave, and electric skillets and hot plates are allowed.
