e adapted to meet the emotional needs children exhibit who have had their attachment disrupted. Core Attachment Therapy© is very respectful to the child and very empowering to the parents. It allows families of adoption a way to bond at the core level which has proven over and over to move children through their emotional issues and needs to then be comforted by the very people they need-their new parents. When this moment of the adopted child letting their new parents “in” occurs, it is so heartwarming and it does transform the heart of the adopted child. Remember, there are 2 training opportunities to learn Core Attachment Therapy©. The first is an orientation program which you will be able to then immediately use the process. The second takes you into a deeper understanding of attachment trauma and how the attachment games heal these attachment wounds.

The orientation course is a 12 hour live webinar and the cert program starts with a 6 hour live webinar followed by 12 hour self-paced module learning with practicum experience as will for a total of 18 hours CEUs.

Due to the New England Association for Play Therapy's annual conference, the two training programs for Core Attachment Therapy© will be delayed by one week.

Orientation for Core Attachement Therapy© will begin on May 8th and continue on May 15th.

Certification Program for CAT will begin on May 8th and the rest is self-paced web based learning that typcially takes around 12 weeks to complete.
