🕯️ LRVNA held our annual Day of Remembrance.

This cherished event for families, friends, and staff honored the memories and was a chance to share stories of hospice patients who passed away last year.

This warm gathering celebrated the lives of loved ones and was an opportunity to reconnect with the caregivers that supported hospice patients and families during their transitional time.

This is another common question we get as families prepare for their first visit.
Our care teams can do a full assessment of the space before treatment begins but there are some things that you can do:

✔️ Make the home safe and comfortable for care.
✔️Secure any pets during visits to avoid distractions or accidents.
✔️Gather important items such as medications, and/or any recent hospital discharge papers.
✔️Ensure a comfortable space where the nurses or therapists can work with patients and provide support without interruptions.
