What a joy it was to celebrate our dear resident, Garner, on her 100th birthday! 🎉✨

Surrounded by many loving family members, she was honored in the most heartfelt way. Our wonderful scheduler and her lucky granddaughter, Monvera, were right there by her side, adding even more warmth to the day. There were happy tears, beautiful prayers, and loud, joyful cheers for this extraordinary woman who has touched so many lives. 💛

Our furry visitors brought lots of smiles today! 💜🐾
Pets always bring the biggest comfort, and Miles Davis from Trinity Health Hospice is one of our sweetest pet therapy pups — always ready to snuggle and spread joy. During Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, these soft fur, gentle touch moments mean even more. A little love truly goes a long way. 💕

Still smiling from the 33rd annual Scot Haney WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News TV Jack Bannan Turkey Trot! 🦃✨

Sharing a quick clip of our awesome Complete Care team—whose energy, teamwork, and big hearts made the event truly unforgettable. From laughter to lifting turkeys, the camaraderie was as strong as the community spirit around us.

The early morning called for a team breakfast before we started our regular workday, and Sally and Bob's ’ delivered! Huge thanks for accommodating us and serving a fabulous breakfast to fuel us up!

We were proud to take part in the 33rd annual Jack Bannan Turkey Trot, supporting Connecticut Foodshare in their efforts to fight food insecurity across our communities.

WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News Scot Haney hosted the event at Stop & Shop in Simsbury, where local organizations and community members came together to donate turkeys for families in need. This year, Complete Care Connecticut donated turkeys and contributed $8,000 to help ensure more households can enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving meal.

We’re so grateful for our staff, whose heart and hard work made this possible. Their compassion reaches far beyond our buildings, and seeing that kindness shared with the community truly inspires us. 💙

Some gestures touch the heart so deeply that words hardly feel big enough.

Thom Padick has long been a loving presence in our community—not only as a devoted son to his mother, Jennie, but also as someone who generously shared his time, patience, and passion by volunteering to teach art to our residents. But Thom has now given us an extraordinary gift: a beautiful bench dedicated to his mother, Jennie, and other family members who have also called Complete Care at Meriden home.

The bench now sits in Jennie’s favorite spot, overlooking the open field—a peaceful place filled with memories and love.

It’s more than a bench. It’s a reminder of the bonds that don’t fade…and the people who leave us better than they found us.
It truly doesn’t get more special than this. 💙
