Why do we take so many photos at your dental appointment?

Couple reasons… and no, it’s not just because you’re photogenic (even though you are).
First — photos help us see the tiny details. Cracks, wear patterns, gum changes, shade matching. When we send cases to the lab, clear photos help them design restorations that actually fit your smile and look natural.

Second — surgery and treatment planning. We use images to map things out, document progress, and make sure everything is precise.

Third — chart records. Dentistry is about tracking changes over time. Photos help us compare year to year and catch things early.

Today we are celebrating one of the smiling faces that keeps everything running smoothly at both McRae Dental and Breathe Airway! Izabelle works our front desk with so much grace and professionalism. She is truly one of the hardest workers you will meet. From juggling schedules to welcoming patients and handling all the behind the scenes details, she does it all with such a calm and positive attitude.

A proud Boise State graduate, she brings that same drive and dedication into the office every single day. And this year is an extra special one because she is getting married! We love watching this sweet season unfold for her.

Okay but pause everything because we had the CUTEST visitor ever today.

Brooklyn pulled up to her appointment with her brand new puppy and honestly… main character energy. The entire office melted. Productivity? Questionable. Vibes? Immaculate.

Dr. Nooman obviously had to get some puppy snuggles in and we fully support it. I mean… how are you supposed to focus when there’s a tiny fluffy baby just existing in the room?

We are still aggressively campaigning for an emotional support dog at the office. Dr. McRae… if you’re reading this… we have evidence that morale would skyrocket. For the patients. For the staff. For the culture. 😜

Until then, please continue bringing puppies. It’s basically therapy.
