Meet Sarah, a 48-year-old who has been taking semaglutide for three weeks now, but hasn’t seen any weight loss yet. We are thrilled to share the progress of Anita a 72 year old who has been taking Semaglutide for 5 weeks and has already lost 16 pounds with no reported side effects! Semaglutide is a medication that helps regulate blood sugar levels and promote weight loss in some individuals. It’s great to see Anita taking control of her health and achieving her goals. Today is World Health Day.

World Health Day is celebrated every year on April 7th.

It was first established in 1948 and each year a new health topic is selected to focus on.

Half the world's population does not have access to the health services they need.

Health costs across the globe have created poverty situations for over 800 million individuals.

More people have access to a cell phone than they do a safe and working toilet.

Over 6.6 million children die every year due to lack of access to health care, nutrition, and clean drinking water.

Across the world over 800 women die per day due to pregnancy and childbirth complications. This occurs with greater frequency in women of color.

Americans spend more money celebrating Halloween and purchasing candy and decorations than the entire world spends on malaria in a given year - nearly $8.4 BILLION was spent in America last year.

At Ironwood Wellness we know how blessed we are to have access to clean drinking water and amazing healthcare.
