Physicians are on the medical staff of Alliance Health Center, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of Alliance Health Center. When the sun clocks out, Laura clocks in. Meet Laura, the nighttime face of Alliance. While most are winding down for the day, Laura is just getting started. She's the friendly face that welcomes you during the twilight hours, keeping things running smoothly after dark. Whether your arriving late or need a calming presence in the evening, Laura is there with a smile and probably the best playlist in the building! Thank you for being the light at night for our patients and staff, Laura!

We had a great time participating in the Justice for All Youth Conference on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! Our team was proud to connect with attendees and share about our newest program, a dedicated adolescent substance misuse program for males age 14 and up. Together, we're working to create safer, healthier futures for our youth.

Today we say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to Lonnie. After making big moves as our director of business development, Lonnie is off to his next great adventure. Whether he was opening doors, building bridges, or just making us laugh, Lonnie has left his mark on Alliance Health Center in the best possible way.

This week we have busted common mental health myths so students, families and educators can head into the school year informed, supported and empowered. Let's separate facts from fear, stigma from support and show up for ourselves and each other.

Our adventurous hospital mascot couldn't resist galloping along with our new Marketing Representative., Adam, as they represent our substance and psychiatric facility. Together they are sharing the mission, connecting and providing awareness to the Alabama Judicial College and the Alabama Circuit and District Judges Association Conference. If you spot them, be sure to say hello and grab some information. Allie loves meeting new friends on the road!

Backpacks, pencils and programs, oh my! Rendaryl really schooled it for braving the back-to-school buzz at the Columbus Community Coalition event! He handed out supplies like a champ and dropped knowledge about our adolescent programs while he was at it, showing up for youth and families in the community. School isn't just about grades. It's about growth, support and showing up in every way possible! Thanks for having us. We will gladly trade a little sweat for smiles.
