Class Descriptions:

Faith Fueled Fit -
Strength and endurance training with an emphasis on functional movement patterns. Classes combine resistance training, body weight movements, circuit and high-intensity interval training. Faith Fueled Flow-
Learn, develop and combine fitness poses to build strength, stability and stamina physically & mentally; while using God's word and prayer to grow spiritually. Faith Fueled Fire-
Move to choreographed postures building courage & core centered strength, empowering physical and spiritual growth. Faith Fueled Freedom-
Reset and restore your body and mind by stretching physically and allowing a release of anything hindering you from the freedom of God's grace and love.

In class this week we were focusing on God's great love for us. The love that saved us while we were sinners. We can't earn His love, or take credit for doing something to make Him love us any more. It is all because of His greatness.

This month as we focus on Love, let it remind you of God's great Love for you! His love saves us through His mercy, rescues us through His grace, forgives us through His kindness and leads us to love others.

And don't forget to look up when He puts that opportunity in front of you. It probably won't be in your 'plan' for the day, but it most definately will be worth your time.

As we're all setting new resolutions for this upcoming year, we want to encourage and challenge you to be intentional about growing in your relationship with God. We believe this is the most important and impactful thing you can do. Deepening your relationship with the Lord will help you be more at peace and less anxious, feel more joy and less depressed, fill you with gratitude and lessen feelings of jelousy and the list goes on. Our mission is to encourage and equip you to live your fullest life and growing in your faith is key living life to it's fullest!

If you're wondering where to start, here's some tips to help.

1. Read the Bible MORE than you Don't! 📖
Committing to reading God’s word at least 4 of the 7 days in the week is a great goal! God's voice, direction, love and guidance can be found only in His word. Make the time to let it speak to your soul.

2. Listen to Christian Music 🎵
Worship in the car, on a walk, at home or wherever you are. If you’re listening to something, make sure it’s filling your soul and turning you towards Jesus!

3. Keep the First Things First ☀
Focus on God first thing in the morning. Before you pick up your phone, before you look at your list for the day, ask God how He wants you to spend your day.

4. Trust More 🙏
Instead of taking your struggles to your bestie, take them to God. Pray, listen, wait, and trust God!

5. Choose Your Circle 👋
Go to church, join a bible study, surround yourself with people that build you up and help point you in the direction you want to go.

We’d love to introduce our new instructor, Kim (.with.kim )! She’ll be leading our new Flex Class starting Friday’s next week!

Hi, my name is Kim.

I am a Navy veteran and dedicated fitness professional with multiple certifications and more than five years of experience teaching exercise and movement-based wellness.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, and diving into creative projects through crafting. My days are joyfully rooted in homeschooling my daughter, Halle (15), and hanging out with my husband Freddy. My family and I attend Calvary Chapel Treasure Valley, where I serve by running the soundboard on Sundays and at various events. I bring the same dedication and heart for service to my church involvement as I do to my work in fitness and wellness.

My enthusiasm for teaching grew out of my own journey navigating significant medical challenges. Through consistent movement, I discovered the profound role exercise can play in healing, managing symptoms, and preventing future injury and disease. That transformation—guided by my faith—sparked a deep desire to share the benefits of mindful movement with others. I now focus on glorifying God in my body and helping others do the same.

Health and fitness have always been an important part of my life. I believe that God has called and instructed us to care for our physical bodies in a way that honors Him and enables us to walk out the mission He has called us to...

I’ve been married to my best friend for 20 years and my greatest calling in life is to be mom to my two (teen) daughters.

I know that I am better equipped to parent, serve, work and play when I care for myself.

When the weather is warm, we love to be outside. We love to camp, hike, backpack, and explore as a family. I also love food and love to cook, bake and experiment in the kitchen. I am in awe of the wonderful plants and flowers that God gave us and am always striving to learn how to better use these natural foods and herbs to heal and sustain our bodies and equip us to live our fullest lives!

Group or individual coaching/classes with a heavy focus on functional and strength training have been transformative in my own health journey and I believe they are a key component to getting and staying healthy as we age. The accountability, community and personalized guidance that is available through group fitness or personal training are the things that I love about what we offer at Faith Fueled Fitness. Every one's health and wellness journey is different, and changes as we age, but God stays the same. He loves you and wants to bring you joy and strength every step of the way.

We would love to introduce our founder and co-owner Christa Starn.

Hi there! I'm Christa Starn and I teach our Flow and Foundations Classes.

I am a native Idahoan married to my best friend who I met at the age of 12. We have three wonderful young adult children and spend a lot of time in the mountains at our family cabin. We love exploring the Idaho Forests; hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, paddle boarding and anything else that includes fresh air and sunshine!

In my younger years I struggled to love and care for my body. Jesus has been the leader of my life for over 20 years now and 15 years ago He led me to bring Him into the center of my physical wellness journey. I discovered how powerful it is to bring worship, scripture and prayer into a traditional fitness style class developing not only physical strength but spiritual health as well.

My sweet spot is teaching classes that are a Christian Alternative to Yoga bringing breath, stretching and worship into one experience. Also empowering women with physical limitations to improve their strength and balance utilizing props when needed. My hope and prayer is to help motivate and encourage you to take care of your body enabling you to fully live the life God created you for!

Our Story

Faith Fueled Fitness is a wholistic approach to health and wellness that equips, encourages and empowers you to live your fullest life. Health is important. Spiritual, emotional and physical health is what God wants for us all. We want to equip, empower and encourage you to live a balanced, healthy and meaningful life. We offer a well-rounded approach to physical fitness including faith based yoga and pilates classes, small group functional fitness classes as well as one-on-one personal training options. We believe that all parts of a person (mind, body, spirit) are connected and designed by God to work collectively to optimize health and well-being. We strive to offer resources to meet needs in each of these areas. This includes nutrition and health coaching, fitness programming and faith based encouragement and support.

Class Descriptions: Faith Fueled Freedom-Reset and restore your body and mind by stretching physically and allowing a release of anything hindering you from the freedom of God's grace and love.
