🌸 Spring Break Closure Notice 🌸

The Free Clinic of Meridian will be closed for Spring Break from March 9–12.

We will reopen on Monday, March 16 and resume normal clinic hours.

If you have an urgent medical concern during this time, please seek care at a local urgent care or emergency room.

A New Endowment. A Stronger Community.

The Community Foundation of East Mississippi is proud to announce the Davidson Endowment for The Free Clinic of Meridian, a permanent fund created to support the Clinic’s ongoing operational needs and ensure free, compassionate medical care for uninsured adults in our region for years to come.

“My passion for giving back comes directly from my mom,” shared Marty Davidson. “She taught me early on that no matter your means, you always have something you can give to help your community.”

Since opening in 2014, The Free Clinic of Meridian has been a lifeline for adults earning less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and ineligible for Medicaid or Medicare. In 2024 alone, nearly 1,500 patients received care, helping prevent more serious illness and reducing unnecessary emergency room visits.

This endowment is an investment in dignity, access to healthcare, and the long-term health of East Mississippi.
