Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital was glad to take part in the West Ada School District’s Drug Prevention Parent Education Night at Meridian High School.

Families heard from Officer Gomez on current substance use trends and what to look out for and explored the Hidden in Plain Sight trailer with the Meridian Anti-Drug Coalition - a powerful hands-on learning experience.

We appreciated the chance to connect with families over great food and meaningful conversations at our resource booth. Together, we can help protect and support our youth. 💙

Meet April, our Pet of the Month!

April is an adorable 10-year-old Yorkie-Chihuahua mix! April loves curling up with her dad, enjoys her daily walks, and even starts dancing when she sees her leash. She may have a funny little fear of flies, but her playful personality brings joy to everyone at Cottonwood Creek!

A message from our CEO, Ernest Esparza:

“I am proud to share that Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital has been recognized across the Oceans Healthcare network with two honors: the Retention Award and Hospital of the Year.

These awards are a reflection of our people—the nurses, clinicians, support staff, and leaders who show up each day with compassion and commitment. Through our mentorship program and supportive culture, we make sure every team member feels valued and connected, which strengthens the care we provide.

While awards are never the goal, they remind us of the true impact of our work: building a culture that supports one another, provides exceptional patient care, and ultimately saves lives.

Thank you to our incredible staff and community partners who make this mission possible.” 💙
