In times of crisis, access to mental health support is more crucial than ever.

Observed every year on October 10th, World Mental Health day is dedicated to raising awareness of mental health challenges around the world and advocating for better access to care and support.

This year’s World Mental Health Day theme is: “'Access to services - mental health in catastrophes and emergencies.' This theme raises awareness and calls for better access to care worldwide.

Together, we can break barriers and bring mental health support to those who need it most. 💚

Connection is the Cure focuses on uniting people and helping everyone to know that we are not alone. They offered in their newsletter 3 ways to connect to others.
1) Authentically check in with those around us.
2) Engage in group/shared activities.
3) Listen, Accept, and Offer Support to those around us.

Connection is super important and is something we should all strive to do to help others know they aren't alone in their mental health journeys. What ways can you connect to those around you?

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental Health is critcal and it's important to know that everyone, even men struggle. Due to the stigma that "men can't show weakness" and need to "be a man", Men often feel unsupported and alone in their mental health journeys. At Idaho TMS & Behavioral Health, everyone is supported in their mental health journeys, especially men, and we encourage those who are struggling to reach out to us. Your mental health matters so much more than societal opinions.

GREAT NEWS! For those seeking to get in with a provider that can prescribe medication we have just the answer. We have two providers that have immediate availability!! You can make an appointment for medication management as early as this week, possibly tomorrow! Today marks World Su***de Prevention Day, and its theme for this year is "Changing the Narrative on Su***de" with a call to action of "Start the Conversation." There's a story about a homeless man who wrote a note to a kind woman, who had bought him Dunkin' Donuts and talked with him. It said, "I wanted to kill myself today. Because of you I now do not. Thank you, beautiful person." Because of her kindness, his life changed. Starting a conversation could be as easy as asking someone "How are you doing today?" and then listening to what they say. You are all important. Let us show you love and kindness. Message us today, we are here for you!
