Baptist Cancer Center – Anderson would like to express our deepest gratitude to the McMillan family, also known as “Team Tina,” for their generous donation to the Cancer Patient Benevolence Fund.

Their heartfelt contribution of snacks, bottled drinks, and $1,166.01 is given in loving memory of their daughter and sister, Marsha “Tina” McMillan, and has become a meaningful annual tradition for their family. 📣 NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR LUNG CANCER DETECTION 📣

Baptist Anderson performed its first lung biopsy using Ion technology today! Lung cancer often goes undiagnosed because patients don't experience any symptoms until the cancer is very advanced. Ion technology enables doctors to get early answers so patients can begin treatment sooner. Ion’s ultrathin, ultra-maneuverable catheter allows the doctor to reach small lesions in all 18 segments of the lung with more reach, precision, and stability.
