Idaho Pain & Adhesion Therapy

Idaho Pain & Adhesion Therapy Adhesion Specialist helping people overcome chronic pain and restricted movement when other treatments haven’t worked.

Alicia walked in barely able to turn her neck without tightness through her middle back.
She came in with severe tightness through her thoracic spine and neck, making even simple movement uncomfortable.
One thing that makes Autumn different is that she teaches while she treats. She explains what she’s finding in the tissue, where adhesions have built up, and why she’s using each technique.
As she worked through the restricted areas, you could literally see Alicia’s mobility start to change.
By the end of the session, Alicia left with significant improvement in both mobility and how she felt.
Sometimes adhesions take a few treatments to fully release. Other times, relief can happen almost immediately. It all depends on the person and how long the adhesions have been present.
Alicia will be back to continue the process, and we’re excited to help her keep improving.
Alicia signed a release allowing her testimony and experience to be shared to help educate others.
Where are you experiencing tightness in your body?

If you’ve had neck or shoulder pain for YEARS and nothing fixes it… read this.🙌🏽👉🏽
It might not be your muscles.
It might not be “bad posture.”
And it might not be something you just have to live with.
It could be Spinal Accessory Nerve Entrapment.
This nerve runs through the side of your neck and controls the muscles that stabilize your shoulders and help you lift your arms. When adhesions (internal scar tissue) build up around this nerve, it can cause symptoms like:
⚡ Deep neck and shoulder pain
⚡ Burning or tightness along the side of the neck
⚡ Shoulder weakness or fatigue
⚡ Pain when lifting your arm
⚡ Chronic tension that massages and stretching don’t fix
The frustrating part?
Many people are told it’s just tight muscles or stress.
But when adhesions form around nerves and soft tissue, they can restrict movement and irritate the nerve, creating pain patterns that keep coming back.
At Idaho Pain & Adhesion Therapy, we specialize in Adhesion Release Methods (ARM) — a technique designed to locate and release these adhesions so the body can move the way it was meant to again.
And sometimes transformation doesn’t mean running a marathon tomorrow.
Sometimes transformation means:
✔ Being able to lift your arm again
✔ Turning your head without pain
✔ Sleeping through the night
✔ Getting your life back little by little
If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck in pain, there may be another layer to what’s happening.

🧠 TRAINING THURSDAY | What Are Adhesions?
Most people have never heard of adhesions… but they could be the hidden reason behind your pain.
Adhesions are internal restrictions in the fascia (connective tissue) that can form after things like:
• Surgery
• Injury
• Inflammation
• Chronic tension
• Repetitive movement
Your muscles and fascia are designed to slide and glide smoothly over each other. When adhesions form, those layers begin to stick together, limiting movement and sometimes even affecting nerves.
This can lead to symptoms like:
• Limited range of motion
• Chronic tightness
• Pulling sensations
• Pain that keeps returning
• Muscles that never seem to “release”

👉🏽👉🏽Important clarification we talk about often:
Many women ask if adhesion therapy is the same thing as treating C-section scars.
A C-section scar is surface scar tissue from surgery.👈🏽👈🏽
Adhesions are different. They are deeper fascial restrictions that can form around muscles, connective tissue, and sometimes even around nerves, which can create pain, restriction, and dysfunction in the body.
While surgical scars can sometimes contribute to restrictions, adhesion therapy focuses on the deeper tissue layers and fascial adhesions, not simply the visible scar itself.

That’s why many people come in thinking they just have “tight muscles” when the real issue is fascial adhesions restricting normal movement.
Sometimes the results don’t look dramatic overnight, but progress can mean:
✨ Being able to lift your arm again
✨ Turning your neck without pain
✨ Sleeping through the night
✨ Walking without that constant pulling sensation
Those small changes can be life-changing.

👀Have you ever had a spot in your body that always feels tight no matter how much you stretch it? Tell me where in the comments!!

If you’ve been dealing with pain that just won’t go away, adhesions may be part of the story.

✨ TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY ✨
At Idaho Pain & Adhesion Therapy | Serving Meridian Transformation doesn’t always mean a dramatic before-and-after photo.
Sometimes transformation looks like this:
A man walking in unable to raise his right arm higher than shoulder level.

“I couldn't raise my right arm higher than level with shoulder when I went to receive ARM from Autumn. After she worked on me, I was able to reach much higher. By the next day my movement was unrestricted again. I highly recommend you see her.”
– KB
That’s transformation!

Not flashy.
Not loud.
But life-changing.
Being able to lift your arm without pain.
Being able to reach into a cabinet.
Being able to sleep through the night.
Being able to move without guarding or bracing.

At Idaho Pain & Adhesion Therapy, we use targeted Adhesion Release Method (ARM) to address the root restrictions in the tissue — and we also incorporate therapeutic massage to support circulation, calm the nervous system, and help the body integrate the work.
Massage alone can feel good.
Targeted adhesion work can restore movement.
Together, they support real, functional change.
Sometimes transformation isn’t instant perfection , it’s restoring what pain slowly stole.

If you’re in Meridian or the surrounding areas and living with limited mobility, chronic tightness, or pain that hasn’t responded to other treatments — there may be another answer.

MONDAY MOTIVATION
Still dealing with that shoulder pain?
The one that won’t let you sleep on your side.
The one that catches when you reach overhead.
The one that aches when you try to work out… or even just get dressed.
What if it’s not “just tight muscles”?
What if it’s adhesions?
Shoulder adhesions form when soft tissue becomes restricted from past injuries, repetitive use, surgery, poor posture, or chronic inflammation. Over time, those restrictions limit movement, create compensation patterns, and keep you stuck in pain.
And here’s the hard truth
Stretching alone won’t fix adhesions.
Massage alone won’t fix adhesions.
Ignoring it definitely won’t fix it.
At Idaho Pain and Adhesion Therapy, we focus on identifying and releasing those deep tissue restrictions so your shoulder can move the way it was designed to.
Imagine reaching overhead without hesitation.
Sleeping through the night without throbbing pain.
Working out without guarding one side.
This Monday, stop pushing through it.
Start addressing it.
If shoulder pain has been lingering for 6 months or longer, it’s time for a different approach.

This weekend was a reminder of why I do the work the way I do.
This room represents the 1%.
Not because we’re better than anyone else—but because we chose to go deeper.
I specialize in adhesion-focused work because chronic pain is rarely random.
Most of the people who find me have already been to multiple doctors, therapists, and providers. They’ve tried stretching, injections, trigger point work, and temporary fixes—and they’re still hurting.
That’s where this training matters.
Adhesions change how tissue moves, how nerves glide, and how the body functions as a whole. If you don’t know how to feel them, identify them, and understand how they affect surrounding structures, you can miss the root cause entirely.
This level of education isn’t quick or easy.
It requires learning to feel differences in tissue, understanding nerve pathways, and knowing when pain is coming from restriction—not weakness or tightness.
I continue to train because my clients deserve more than short-term relief.
They deserve answers.
They deserve lasting change.
And they deserve a provider who never stops learning.
I’m proud of the work I do and the community of practitioners who are willing to put in the reps, the time, and the humility it takes to truly help people who’ve been told “this is just how it is.”
Because healing shouldn’t feel like a guessing game.
If you’re dealing with chronic pain and feel stuck, send me a message or ask a question below. I’m always happy to help you understand what might be going on and whether this work could be a good fit for you.
