Our Lee's Summit location is accepting new speech therapy clients, who will have the joy of meeting with Brandy Mosier!

Brandy has been a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for 23 years, serving pre-K through 12th grade, with a focus on preschool-aged students. She’s worked with a wide range of students with communication difficulties including autism, apraxia, language delays and articulation delays.

She received her Master's degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Rockhurst University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a Board of Healing Arts license in the state of Missouri.

When not working, she stays busy with her two sons, who play competitive volleyball, and she enjoys reading and scrapbooking.

For Mental Health Awareness Month, we wanted to focus on how interoceptive awareness can help us all.

Interoception helps improve emotional intelligence by increasing self-awareness of bodily sensations linked to feelings like anxiety, anger, and excitement.

Interoception also involves other body signals such as our basic body needs. See how self-regulation can occur through regular body checks!
