We were honored to recognize preoperative and recovery RN, Candice Ramey, as an Outstanding Team Member at AdventHealth South Overland Park. Candice has earned this recognition through her reliability, dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Candice is a team member her colleagues can always count on. She is known for her thoroughness and knowledge, ensuring that everything is in order when surgery patients are transferred from preoperative to recovery. Her ability to answer questions and assist others, even in areas outside her immediate responsibilities, make her an invaluable resource to her teammates. Beyond her expertise, Candice is known for her kindness and compassion, exemplifying our "Love Me" service standard through the care and attention she gives to patients.
Her proactive attitude and willingness to help across various areas make her stand out. She frequently cross-trains in other departments and actively seeks opportunities to assist her colleagues, always asking, “How can I help?” Candice’s exceptional communication and openness to new ideas have a positive impact on her team.
