BLOOD FLOW RESTRICTION
(BFR)
*BFR for dummies*
A tourniquet is placed at the highest point of the limb. Make it tight. blood flow is restricted and then you perform resistance training.
Use light loads for many reps..
WHY
sub-maximal strength training with BFR has shown the same or similar efficacy as maximal strength training
This is particularly important in rehabilitation.
