Headlice are tiny wingless insects living in hair and feeding on blood from the scalp. Lice are common in small children including yours. So, parents should be cautious! They spread from household members or other kids at school or kindergarten. Here are some of its signs:
• Itchy head. When lice start to bite, itchiness happens.
• Something is crawling. Your kid might feel something tickling, crawling, or other sensations in their hair.
• Trouble sleeping. The presence of lice can cause scalp irritation, and your child may scratch his head all night.
• Sores. If you notice sores on the child's head, it can be an indication of lice.
Give your family doctor a call once you notice these symptoms in your kids.
