Chiropractic Adjustment – Standing Thoracic Lift - A standing thoracic lift is a chiropractic adjustment technique that focuses on the thoracic spine, the section of the spine located in the middle of the back. During this technique, the patient remains standing while the chiropractor applies a controlled, gentle lifting motion to the thoracic region. The goal of the adjustment is to help restore proper alignment of the vertebrae, improve spinal movement, and reduce tension in the surrounding muscles and joints. By improving mobility in the mid-back, a standing thoracic lift may also help relieve stiffness, support better posture, and reduce discomfort that can develop from daily activities such as prolonged sitting, repetitive movements, or poor ergonomic habits.
