Over the course of 7 weeks, 9 high school students and 2 GW STEM teachers-in-training conducted hands-on research in our labs, guided by dedicated mentors and research teams. The program culminated in an inspiring poster presentation, where each participant shared their original work. Programs like METEOR are designed to spark a lifelong passion for science and medicine and these young researchers gave us plenty of reasons to be excited for the future! https://www.meteorvhs.com/

Football season is back! 🙌🏈 We started the season off right with our very own Washington Commanders Kick-Off Party featuring football themed games, a photo booth, sign making and some special guest appearances by former Commanders wide receiver Josh Morgan, Emmy award winning sports broadcaster, Wes Hall, and D.C.'s Washington Prodigy Women's Tackle Football team. We can't wait to cheer on the Commanders all season long!
