We are excited to announce that A Family That Cares Home Healthcare is preparing for our Medicare/Medicaid certification survey. As part of this process, CMS & FSSA require that we provide skilled care to 10 patients (7 of whom must be active and currently receiving skilled services).

Because of this requirement we are currently offering skilled home healthcare services at no cost (pro bono) to qualifying patients.

We are happy to announce that A Family That Cares Personal Care & Adult Day Services is NOW accepting clients for our Adult Day Services. Approved by the State of Indiana, we are now accepting Medicaid, Anthem, Humana, and United Healthcare.

*Early/late drop offs for your family member

AN ENGAGING COMMUNITY
AFTC’s Adult Day Services (ADS) addresses the needs of older adults with the goal of helping them remain in the community for as long as possible. With a person-centered approach, we support older adults living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and related conditions across varied stages. Our program is also designed for older adults who are experiencing physical limitations or are socially isolated.

LIFE ENRICHMENT
We take a creative, comprehensive approach to adult day programming by engaging with the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Each day’s activities integrate memory support, health and wellness, and creative arts therapies (music, art, drama, and dance). The everyday experience at AFTC’s is anything but ordinary: Our participants thrive in our warm and friendly community with a lively and inviting atmosphere. Sensory experiences, word games, intergenerational events, entertainment, celebrations, and discussion and reminiscence groups are all part of the safe, comfortable environment we provide each day.
