What a way to end the week! Today we were all inspired by another centenarian! Beverly came to the office on a cold winter day. On March 1 she will be 101!! That's right, some people are blessed with having two golden birthdays!!

Today we got to see Vivian on a very cold day! She’s 100.5 and doing great, she shared that she is still working as a hospital volunteer! 50 years and over 38,000 volunteer hours and counting! Truly making a difference and incredibly inspiring!

OPHTHALMIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Deen-Gross Eye Centers is a progressive Ophthalmic Practice looking for an energetic new team member who wants a rewarding career in HealthCare to work as an Ophthalmic Medical Assistant. The Ophthalmic Medical Assistant is responsible for processing medical requests for our Ophthalmic patients inclusive of providing appropriate resolution for patient needs under the direction of the Physician, inclusive of the work up of the patient, triaging patient calls, prescription refills, Physician referrals, prior authorization requests, scribing duties and assisting with patient care needs as directed.

Skills: Ophthalmic Assistant Preferred

· High school Diploma or Equivalent
· Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) Preferred (Willing to train and educate to achieve certification

It's Centenarian Saturday!! This past Wednesday we were fortunate to have a great visit in the office with Bev, today is her birthday!!
Happy 100!!!! Dr. Gross will be representing our office at her 100th birthday party today. We learn so much about people and about life by listening to the wonderful stories of our special patients. We all wish Bev a happy celebration and many more happy and healthy days ahead.

Joyce blessed us today coming in for an office visit! She turned 101 this past November and is doing fantastic!! We cherish all of our patients and really celebrate seeing all the centenarians.

Thelma is 100.5 years old and came to see us for an exam on Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas to Thelma and all of our patients and our staff! We will be closed at 1:00 today 12/24 and all day on 12/25 to allow our staff to be with their families. Emergency services will be available through our 24/7 answering service.
