Innovations In Learning, is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! No over-nights, no weekends and Paid Holidays!
HOURS: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
$15.50 per hour
LOCATION: Merrillville, IN

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct services to individuals with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities who attend the Adult Day Services Program, using principles of Behavior Analysis. Responsibilities include:

Teach skills in individual and group settings
Follow all schedules and lesson plans
Provide personal care to individuals
Implement Behavior Support Plans
Implement Person Centered Individual Support Plans
Implement High Risk Protocols
Medication Administration, as necessary
Complete agency documentation
Physically assist individuals, as necessary
Participate in agency trainings
Participate in supervision and agency meetings as scheduled
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:

· 18 years of age

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Clear Criminal Background Check

-TB test required

·Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance

Looking for something part time that allows you to be free most the day? Then this is the position for you!!
Our Day Service dept. is looking for a Part time driver for our transportation van.
Hours are M - F 7:00 am - 9:30 and 2:45 - 5:15 $18.00 hr
The Van Driver must be at least 21 years of age and hold a High School diploma or GED.
The Van Driver must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, have no conviction of reckless driving or driving under the influence, maintain a clear criminal background check, and a clear TB test. Ability to work with clients diagnosed with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and with special physical needs.
