Our ladies had so much fun creating these adorable, cutesy pillows today. From choosing fabrics to stuffing and fluffing, each pillow was made with care, creativity, and lots of smiles. A cozy keepsake and a beautiful reminder of a great day at Active Day Merrillville 💕

Who can resist puppy cuddles? 🐶💖

Our members had the BEST time with puppy visits from Petland after Bingo yesterday.

The cuddles, laughter, and wagging tails brought so much happiness to our center. Moments like these remind us how powerful companionship and joy can be. Thank you so much to Petland for stopping by again. 💕🐾

🏈🐻 Bear Down at Active Day Merrillville! 🐻🏈

Our members brought the energy and showed off their Chicago Bears pride today in style! From cozy beanies to bold hoodies and everything in between, we were repping the orange and navy all day long.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just here for the fun, today was all about team spirit, laughter, and community.

Strengthening Families – While Supplies Last!

We are so grateful to share this incredible opportunity with our Active Day Merrillville families and friends! 💙

Thanks to generous donations from Costco, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Walmart, Greater First Church of the Northwest in East Chicago, Indiana will be giving away essential items to support families across our community — including clothing, food, small appliances, bedding, household goods, and more.

This afternoon at Active Day Merrillville, we added a little winter whimsy to snack time with our sugar-free vanilla pudding Snowman Cups! 🧁⛄️ Our members had so much fun enjoying this festive, sweet treat. Proof that a little creativity and a lot of heart go a long way.

💌 New Pen Pal Program with Active Day Fort Wayne!
This January, we're launching a Pen Pal Program with our sister center in Fort Wayne to bring even more smiles and social connection to our members. Whether it’s a cheerful letter, a shared memory, or a new friendship formed through the mail, we can’t wait to see this program blossom!

❄️ Winter Wonderland Party – January 23rd at 1:30 PM
Get ready for a day of cozy winter magic! Our members are invited to dress in white, blue, or silver and join us for an afternoon of bingo, drinks, snacks, and prizes during our Winter Wonderland Party. It’s going to be a flurry of fun, laughter, and celebration!
