Please join us in welcoming our newest physician, Dr. Melissa Egert!

Dr. Egert is a Northwest Indiana native who grew up in Schererville and attended Andrean High School. She went on to earn her degree in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington. Continuing her education as a proud Hoosier, she received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, where she also completed her urology residency.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Egert back home as she joins Urologic Specialists of Northwest Indiana!

Dr. Egert’s areas of interest and expertise include minimally invasive treatments for BPH, surgical treatment and prevention of kidney stones, in‑office vasectomy, and care for common urologic conditions such as incontinence and overactive bladder.

📍 Dr. Egert sees patients at our Merrillville and Valparaiso locations.

Holes in the Walls for a Cause! Yesterday our staff paid to put a hammer through the wall and all the funds raised are going to be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. We couldn't be more proud of the team we have built here!

WE DID IT!!! We are so excited to say that we are finally all moved in & open for business. This was a long process, but one that sure did pay off! We could not be more excited for you to see this new facility! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.

Hi Everyone!!

It’s been a bit since we’ve shared an update, but the building has continued to move right along!

The outside is complete, including all landscaping.
We finally got power directly to the building last week, and the elevator will be going in next week!

They have also been redoing a couple of our existing rooms as we will continue to use those once we move into the expansion.

We are opening our new facility next month & can not wait to show it off!
