“Growth isn’t solitary. It’s often two people quietly becoming braver together.”

At Pillars of Wellness, we know meaningful change happens in connection. Through couples and group therapy, growth unfolds as people practice vulnerability, build trust, and learn to show up differently—together. You don’t have to navigate it alone to move forward.

Explore growth through connection.

✨ Meet our next Clinician Spotlight: Kelly Nusbaum Johnson Kelly Johnson, LMHC ✨

Kelly is a steady, grounded presence at Pillars of Wellness, known for her dedication to mindfulness and her passion for helping others slow down and reconnect with what matters most. Whether she’s guiding clients through intentional awareness practices or developing programming behind the scenes, Kelly brings both heart and professionalism to everything she does.

Her supervisor Jason Kniola, NCC, LMHC, LCAC shared:
“Kelly Johnson is passionately and professionally driven to create and implement mindfulness-based programming. She has brought new life and structure to the mindfulness program, inspiring clinicians and clients alike to learn and practice this valuable skill.”

Kelly’s newest blog, “The Good Old Days” Can Be NOW, invites readers to gently explore the idea that ease isn’t something we lost in the past — it’s something we can cultivate right here in the present. Through practical, accessible mindfulness strategies, she reminds us that even in busy seasons, we can create small moments of steadiness and care.

When she’s not supporting clients, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends — the moments that truly fill her cup. And in the next five years, she has her sights set on traveling to Japan. 🌸

Kelly is currently accepting new clients. If you’re interested in mindfulness-based therapy or learning more about our 8-Week Mindful Wellness Program, we’d love to connect.

“Certain kinds of safety can’t be taught—they’re felt when two nervous systems decide to trust at the same time.”

Healing doesn’t always happen alone. In couples and group therapy, safety is built together—through shared presence, honest connection, and learning how to regulate, repair, and grow alongside others.
At Pillars of Wellness, we create spaces where connection becomes the catalyst for change.

If you’re ready to heal in relationship, we’re here.

Our Story

Pillars of Wellness was founded on an approach to mental health that appreciates the many facets of the human experience: mind-body-soul. We seek to focus on helping match clients and clinicians to improve overall clinical efficacy and client and clinician satisfaction.

We strive to let client-clinician goodness of fit drive the therapeutic process. By understanding personality, clinical style, and specialties, we hope to decrease clinician burnout and increase clinical efficacy. At Pillars we understand that our clinicians' wellbeing is clinically relevant!

At Pillars it is our passion to standout as an agency that not only cares for the clients we serve, but does so by supporting the clinicians that have decide to partner with us!
