🎶It’s the most wonderful time of the year🎶 Happy December 1st! Did you know that you can use your HSA/FSA on prescription glasses, sunglasses, and contacts?! To end this week of thanks and introductions, our office would like to introduce our second front desk receptionist, Mykayla! Mykayla joined our Lunettes family in 2024 and has added such a spark to our team. She has such an optimistic and radiant personality, and our patients and staff can feel it. Mykayla, thank you for the joyous energy you bring to the office!

Today, we would like to thank and introduce Kaitlyn, who joined our Lunettes family in 2024. Kaitlyn has been a wonderful addition to our team, and her passion for helping people truly shines through in her work. Each day, Kaitlyn goes above and beyond to provide excellence for each patient she interacts with. If you have ever called Lunettes or been by the office, you will see why we are so blessed to have Kaitlyn as part of our family!

P.S., Hi, I’m Kaitlyn, the one who has been behind all of these posts, but for this one I asked a lovely coworker of mine to help because it felt rather awkward to write such a blurb about myself, and I could not feel more loved! This job has changed my life for the better, and I’m so grateful for Lunettes!

Today, we would like to thank and introduce our favorite Southern bell. Jasmin joined our Lunettes family last year after she and her family decided to move to Chicago following her husband’s business. She brings a plethora of knowledge and ideas to our office that have changed us for the better. We have had the amazing opportunity to start making glasses in-house because of her experience as an optical lab tech. Jasmin, thank you for choosing us to be your Chicago family. We could not be more grateful for you.

Today, we would like to thank the person who we refer to as the “glue” of the practice. When Dr. Langle took her chance opening up Lunettes in 2017, it was no question who her first phone call would be to, to start this journey with her. Leeann’s ability to understand patients’ wants and needs, sometimes before they know their own wants and needs, has led her to become incredibly successful as an optician. Our patients are always in good hands with her, and as staff, we feel the same with her as our office manager. Leeann, our office could not run without you, and for that, we are incredibly thankful.

To continue our thanks, let us introduce Dr. Greenagel! Dr. Greenagel is actually not new to our office, spending many summers as our front desk receptionist during her time in undergrad. It was only fitting she join our team again as our associate Optometrist. Dr. Greenagel brings everything from smiles and a light to our office; we have yet to see a patient leave her room without a smile on their face. We would like to thank her for always keeping us smiling everyday!
