APRIL AGAIN !!!!!

38 years ago I named my “business” Nature’s Spirit. Actually it was on Earth Day that I decided to do that.
Reflecting on this keeps me being my true self through all the changes that this life has presented. To me, this is so much more than an occupation. I began this in the days when Aromatherapy was little known in this country. What brought me to it is my acute sensitivities. Our atmosphere is vital to our well being; our wholistic wellness depends on what we take into our selves. The air in which we breath fills our lungs and our limbic system. The lungs provide our life force through our respiration & how we inhale this air is directly linked with our limbic system, which affects our entire being through the brain & body. Our emotional and Spiritual state is also dependent on our intake.

What are you breathing?
Along with what we eat and drink we fill ourselves with whatever we choose to apply onto ourselves as it will go into ourselves.

Yes, Aromatherapy is about scent, yet also much more. I consider myself foremost a wholistic wellness practitioner. As the scent affects our mind & emotions as well as touching our Soul it also speaks through its botanical image & aromatic essence. Intuitively we feel the plant powers through the absorption into our bodies. Aromatherapeutic applications through body anointment, moisturization and massage provide comfort and embrace healing through self care.

I care a lot about everything that I am involved with, beginning with myself.
What are you eating? drinking? thinking? intending?

Its all connected and for me the sense of smell links it within my very essence.

I continue on through my Nature’s Spirit creations and connections to be my best self for as long as I am here on this planet.

38 years ….many of you have known me for quite a few of them. I thank you for being part of my journey.

What’s In it for You ?

Literally. What is in the bottle/the blend for you? With Nature’s Spirit it is fairly simple to see that I use only pure botanicals in my formulations. Product ingredients are listed & in my case very precisely complete. If they do not fit on the label they are in the write up.

So many companies use some form of creative aromatic & even herbal components, yet when I read the ingredient list I often find that these beneficial components are added in with other items that I would not care to include in my formulations.

I write this because sometimes I am curious what other people are using , so I look up some and as I suspect find that many are cleverly marketed. Their is a lot of naivety in the world of scent. To me it is far more than how something smells, it is how my body chemistry responds to and with that through olfactory communications. I want to understand why all the components work together in a fashion that is desirable in a synergy. I continue to share numerous blends through my website for those who want to know “whats in it for them”.

Each blend is filled with pure aromatic essential oils, CO2’s & some absolutes.
Manyy are offered neat and also with a pure vegetal base usually Jojoba, yet also some in Argan, Aloe Vera or Shea Butter. And often with a mist option in a pure hydrosol.

I kindly suggest exploring the components of your selections and know what is real, ethically sourced and hopefully made with intention and love.

💜🦋THE ILLUMINATION OF THE SOUL🦋💜

💜🦋Spiritual awareness comes to me in many ways, and deep meditation can bring a blissful calm to my busy mind and restless body. When I enter my quiet space, I find stillness, acceptance, and the comfort of simply being present. I’ve learned that setting intentions and having a plan to center myself is a powerful start.

💜🦋Being still may sound easy, but the real challenge is staying in “Nowness”—my word for the present moment. To support this, I often mist the air with pure plant essential oils, just as incense has been used through the ages to connect with Spirit. I also burn pure Frankincense resin to clear energy, always choosing what’s real over synthetic, mass-marketed fragrances.

💜🦋I diffuse oils or create mists in hydrosol for the room, hair, and body, knowing they are of pure origin. With love as my intention, I made my “Illumination of the Soul” blend in rose water or jojoba, applied with a small roller under my nostrils and on my lips. This deepens the olfactory connection, moisturizes skin, and becomes a sacred bridge for the oils’ messages.

Waking up everyday is an adventure. Being Vintage gives one a certain perspective on life unlike it did in earlier times. Every day can be vast or as a blink of the eye. Perspective!

Breathing, most often taken for granted is the gift we gain each time we open our eyes to a new day. I create a lot of formulations to enable the breath of life to remain flowing through me.

Years ago there was a reporter in Ft Myers who had a column about Good News" in the newspaper back in the early days of Nature's Spirit & when I began the Downtown Book -Shoppe "in 1988. I was fortunate to have had a few write ups in this column. I feel it is of utmost importance to emphasize our health & goodness & add what we may to be a piece of "goodness' on this planet. Perhaps to see the GOD-ness somehow through the haze of earthly turmoil.

I carry on preaching about Nature, Plants, How to fill the atmosphere (being our source of breath) with healthy aromatic molecules.
