In Winter we seek warmth. Warmth within is equally important as is the temperature of our bodies. Feeling the warmth from the emotional impact of pure scent is indeed very powerful. One may make Aromatic encounters part of daily life with the use of pure botanicals.
I like to create seasonal scents. Winter time here in the Northern hemisphere can get rather chilly. This is the time to apply deep rich aromatics, one which ignite an inner flame. With using essential oils as natural parfums and body formulations one may layer themselves with blankets of scent. Upon arising it is always good to have a natural skin care regime with true plant products to moisturize the skin with fragrant blends in jojoba or another vegetal nourishing base. Here’s where we layer. When using pure plant essential oil we can mix up the scents on the body with purposeful intentions and then apply the parfum either in the mix or added as a “scentual” adornment.
Here is an example of one of my Nature’s Spirit Parfum creations I made a while back on a cool winters eve when I was in the Fairyland of the Mountains. “BRIGID’S BENEVOLENCE” Brigid is a Bright Goddess, esteemed in the realm of high dimensions. Wisdom, Intelligence and Healing are some of the most honored aspects Brigid bestows upon us in our daily lives. She is a Benevolent Being honored by many who honor her with gratitude for the many blessings she graciously extends.She expresses Solar vitality with her talents of mastering the Elements through the art of blacksmithing, combining magic with practicality. As a Woman of the Fairy Hills she is honored in the woods, mountains and farms, respected for her plant knowledge and kindness to animals. Divination and prophecy are majical natural abilities for this Wise Woman. Brigid inspires beauty and creation with her radiance. She is symbolized as a triple Goddess, honoring all phases and aspects of femininity. Her warmth glows through the Winter as She is also honored on February 1st for Imbolic. Ancient ways are still honored in these modern days invoking Passion, Healing and Creation with tribute to Brigid.
In my Aromatic Art of pure perfumery I love intermingling botanical blessings from many plants, allowing the quintessential essences and personalities to intertwine in their unison, making a lovely “scentual” personal intentional parfum. One may pay tribute to the warmth and wisdom of this honored Saint and Diety with personal anointment of a bespoken blend. Wondrous visions, thoughts, emotions, realizations and desires come forth with anointing this creation as a pure parfum.
True essences emit vibrational aromatic energies. enchanting the senses, empowering the mind and setting intentional wavelengths. Applying the parfum carries forth a personal statement through its scents personality. The neat parfum is wonderful intermingled within your head of hair, mixing into the atmosphere. Extending these precious botanicals into a pure jojoba carrier base allows one to anoint the self anywhere: under the nostrils is a favored spot for ones self to enjoy the aromatic delights. Applying on pulse points is wonderful as a parfum also and perhaps on more intimate and delicate areas for a romantic interlude?
I will share my creation with you in content, Yet, so much more is involved in the formulation of the creation. When I use the name of a Divine being I always do so with the utmost respect to honor them. I research qualities that I feel are benevolent and in my blending I add the intentional desires for the goodness and blessings of all the plant personalities to come forth and be harmonious in unison.

Feeling the warmth within from aromatic essences evokes a deep sense of self. Scent ignites our inner flame and kindles the desires we hold within to manifest in the world. Our world, our personal world is one of creation. We may visualize our dreams and create them with infinite possibilities. Botanical open up our primal nature, the subconscious with these “brain wave messages”, allowing the flow of ideas to come to fruition.
Whether we seek a time of passion or artistic creation is all individual choice. The Goddess energies are complex, melding with our innermost self, allowing expression to evolve as we are warmed by the inner flame within us. Just as the sun shines, so do we. Plant personalities reveal powers when we allow our intuitive sense of smell to instinctually guide us. As the seasons change, so might our desires of scents. Following our inner guidance will pave our way to being our most authentic self. And we are here to feel the Joy of life with all the “scentual” pleasures Nature gives us. Embrace the Inner Flame!
