Let’s talk about downturned corners of the mouth, and how filler can help 👄✨

As we age, it’s common for the corners of the mouth to start turning downward, often creating a tired, sad, or angry expression (even when we feel great!). This happens due to a combination of volume loss, skin laxity, and the pull of muscles around the lower face.

The good news? Dermal filler can be a powerful tool to help correct this.

By carefully placing small amounts of filler around the oral commissures (the corners of the mouth) and sometimes along the marionette lines, we can create a gentle upturn and restore balance to the lower face.
