Route 3 CrossFit Whether you are just getting started in your fitness journey or have been active for years, we have a program that will work for you!

CrossFit Route 3 is located in the Merritt Crossing Plaza next to Target in Merritt Island, Florida. We offer group, semi-private and private coaching. Our workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) in a manner designed to help you achieve your fitness goals no matter your ability level.

Toes-to-bar (T2B) is a gymnastics movement that requires core strength, grip endurance, shoulder mobility, and coordination.

Like every moment in there is a scale and progression we can use to build strength and train the skill.

When choosing a scale it is important to prioritize controlled movement and to pick something that allows you to keep the stimulus similar. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

In the receiving position, lock your arms out completely and maintain an ACTIVE shoulder position to support the bar stably overhead.

As the weight gets heavier you won't be able to press out each rep.

The wall walk builds shoulder pressing strength & improves core stability and body control.

Wall walks can be scaled at every level and are a great way to prepare for handstand walks!
