So many people struggle with feeling like they don’t matter, that others don’t care about them. We are social beings that need to feel connected to other people. Even with our phones attached to us and social media at our fingertips, we don’t get enough genuine connection. Many of us lack that sense of community. When we don’t get it, we can seek out reactions from others, feel depressed, or anxious, and feel stuck.

Reach out to your friends and family. Check on them. Show them that you care and that they matter.

I mentioned previously that we are using Alpha-Stim in session with clients as well as doing monthly rentals and selling them. As soon as I had two new devices ready for rent, they were out the door. One person chose to purchase it after their rental time was up and the other device was rented the next day!

Jessica has been busy out in the community the past few weeks. First was helping to facilitate and participate in a training with local therapist Jackie Flynn, then walking at the Out of Darkness Walk to prevent su***de with fellow therapists, and last was presenting on self care tools at a Mental Health Fair at Suntree United Methodist Church!
