This week was an absolute blast engaging in activities that put our fine motor skills to the test! From carefully manipulating small objects to showcasing our fine motor skills. Additionally, we explored the wonderful world of colors by identifying them. And to top it all off, we practiced following group directions, listening attentively and responding accordingly to the instructions given. It was incredible to see everyone working together and having so much fun while doing so! ☃

Holiday Reminder for Parents and Caregivers:

Kids get overstimulated:
The holidays can be loud, busy, and overwhelming. Give them space to decompress when they need it.

They don’t have to sit on Santa’s lap:
Respect their comfort levels and let them decide how they want to interact.

Hugs and kisses aren’t mandatory:
Teach kids that their boundaries matter. A polite wave or smile is enough if they’re not comfortable.

Respect their need for routine:
The holidays can disrupt schedules, but sticking to familiar routines as much as possible helps kids feel secure.

Advocate for them:
You are their voice when they can’t speak up. If they’re overwhelmed or uncomfortable, step in and support them.

Prepare them for what’s ahead:
Let them know what to expect during holiday events to reduce anxiety.

Keep their needs first:
It’s okay to leave early, skip an event, or say no to something if it’s too much for your child.

The holidays are about joy, not perfection. Let’s make it a season where kids feel safe, respected, and loved.💛
