All across social media and within various communities, especially the spiritual community there is constant talk about your thoughts. What you should think about to manifest this... How you need to change your thoughts to create positivity! It can be frustrating to change our thoughts into more positive ones when the brain has adopted a coping mechanism such as rumination.
Remember to be kind to your mind! If you are obsessive thinking, you won't be able to just snap your fingers into a different form of thinking. However, you can be more aware! Being aware of your thoughts allows you the opportunity to start shifting out of this behavior.
Rumination is a coping mechanism that many people experience without the clarity or understanding of why it came on. I like to think of Rumination as the brains way of coping with the distress or perceived distress.
Don't give up! There are so many ways to work through rumination. Before long you will train your mind to a different way of coping.
