Amazing job to our buckle winners! and everyone who participated. We had such a fun evening at our awards ceremony/potluck. Thank you to everyone who brought food and came to support these kiddos!

✨Saturday Student Spotlight ✨

Hi my name is Brooke and I am 10 years old.
A fun fact about me is I like animals, hanging out with my friends and I do not like a lot of sweets.
I have been riding since January but what really got me into riding was doing trails rides since I was younger on every vacation that I begged my parents to take me on.
The goals that I have with riding is to get faster around the barrels and to feel more confident on the horse at faster speeds.
Az Rodeo has helped me since I’ve started by telling me to not let fear take over! And how to become more comfortable on the horse.

✨Saturday Student Spotlight✨

My name is Taylor and I am 16 years old. I was introduced to riding about 6 years ago, on a friend’s horse, and started taking lessons shortly after that. I tried different disciplines in the past but have found my passion in barrel racing! I was lucky to find AZ Rodeo Ready in 2024 and I love the opportunity to not only perfect the barrel pattern, but also to grow as a rider and learn more about horsemanship. I appreciate the student races, allowing me to build confidence and to continue improving my skills; I find lessons to be fun as well because the instructors are all supportive and encouraging, making the whole experience more enjoyable. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy all forms of art; I like to draw, paint and I also like to play the guitar and piano. My goals are to become a better rider and continue improving my barrel racing skills, as well as attending more races.
