When she first moved to Citrus Gardens, life took an unexpected turn, but the community was there with open arms.

“When my husband passed away, I was still new here, but everyone surrounded me with love. I’d never lived in a 55+ community before, and it was incredible to see how people pulled together. Six years later, I’m teaching line dancing, hosting game nights, and helping with community events. There’s always something to do!” 💛

“Back in Seattle, I was bored, just sitting in front of the TV while it rained. Here, there’s always something to do! My wife loves the wood shop, my mother-in-law enjoys the activities, and I volunteer to help cook for events. The people here are friendly, fun, and always ready to chat. At Citrus Gardens, neighbors aren’t just neighbors, they’re family. One of our residents, Toni, shared what makes this 55+ community so special:

“Everybody’s helping everybody here, it’s such a great community! We’ve got the pool, co****le, pickleball, shuffleboard, and even dances. Every Saturday morning, we have donuts down at South Hall, and I deliver a few to our neighbors. It’s just a wonderful place to be.” 💛

Friendship, fun, and a true sense of community every day is something to look forward to at Citrus Gardens.

Our Food Drive is still going strong until November 14th! We’re collecting donations in the clubhouse to help support families in need, and every contribution counts.

To encourage participation, we’re offering a special incentive: For every item donated from the following list, it will count as two toward your property’s total!

* Rice
* Beans
* Peanut Butter
* Jelly
* Canned Chicken

Please remember — all donated items must be non-expired. Here’s a reminder of other much-needed items for the drive:

* Soup
* Spaghetti Sauce & Pasta
* Mashed Potatoes
* Bottled Water
* Condiments (Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo)
