How can CBT help you improve your communication skills?

These assumptions, however, can be incorrect and/or irrational, because they are based on the knowledge of previous experiences. A much faster way to move through your day.

Does Counseling/Therapy Really Help?

Counseling, also known as talk therapy, involves meeting with a trained professional to discuss and address life's challenges. It's a safe space where you can voice your concerns, guided by a therapist who helps you explore deeper and achieve self-awareness.

Why Choose Counseling Over Talking to a Friend?
While friends offer support, a therapist uses their expertise to guide purposeful conversations, leading to healing and lasting change.

Types of Counseling:

Populations: Adults, seniors, adolescents, children.
Session Types: Individual, couples, family, group therapy.
Theoretical Approaches: CBT, Psychoanalysis, Interpersonal Therapy, etc.

Payment Options:

Insurance: In-network or out-of-network benefits.
Cash Pay: Ideal for privacy concerns.

Understand your benefits and financial responsibilities by checking with your practice and insurance provider before your first appointment.

Ready to start your journey to healing? Contact us today to schedule your first session and take the first step towards a healthier, happier you.

What is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is based on the belief that our thoughts cause our feelings, and then, our behavior. Have you ever been upset about something, and then when you thought about it decided there was nothing you can do to control or change it – and then suddenly you felt much better? That is a simplified explanation of how CBT works!

CBT helps clients examine their way of thinking (automatic or otherwise), assess if they are helpful or not, and work towards making changes to the unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. CBT is not passive treatment. Together with the therapist, the client will practice their new ways of perceiving the world and experience the changes they desire.
