This month's offering is something really special. A friend of mine gifted me naturally grown Moringa and Creosote herbs straight from her backyard here in AZ. I then made a coconut oil infusion with these herbs to use for this month's offering. You don't want to miss out on this one!
My friend Rose, has a business called Chasinghawks Botanicals LLC and she sells a variety of herbal products that are made with herbs that are typically found in the Sonoran Desert. If you would like to learn more about her business and products use the button below!

*Provides intense hydration
Packed with Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and essential fatty acids, Moringa oil delivers a concentrated dose of nourishment, helping skin stay healthy, smooth, and resilient.
*Locks in moisture for lasting hydration
Its high oleic acid content helps reinforce the skin’s ability to retain moisture, keeping it soft and supple throughout the day without feeling heavy or greasy.
*Promotes a balanced and clear appearance
Lightweight yet replenishing, this oil hydrates without clogging pores, making it a great choice for those with combination or oily skin seeking a balanced, refreshed feel.
Its unique composition allows it to blend seamlessly with the skin’s natural oils, helping to maintain equilibrium without overproduction.
*Softens rough or dry patches
Moringa oil absorbs effortlessly, helping to smooth dry, flaky areas and restore comfort to skin that feels stressed or tight.
Its rich fatty acid profile delivers targeted hydration to areas prone to dryness, such as the cheeks, elbows, or hands.
*Brightens and evens skin tone
Rich in Vitamin C and plant-derived compounds, Moringa oil helps brighten dull-looking skin, leaving it with a soft, healthy radiance.
*Provides a soothing touch
Naturally calming, Moringa oil helps comfort sensitive or reactive skin, making it ideal for times when skin feels irritated or in need of extra care.
*Offers long-lasting stability and potency
Unlike many plant oils that degrade quickly, Moringa oil has a naturally long shelf life, meaning it stays stable and effective in your skincare routine for longer.
Benefits of Creosote Oil for the body and skin:
*Powerful antioxidant properties
Creosote is packed with antioxidants, making it a potent ally in the fight against skin damage. These antioxidants help neutralize free radicals, which are responsible for premature aging, fine lines, and wrinkles. By incorporating creosote into your skincare routine, you're providing your skin with a natural defense against environmental stressors.
*Reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation
One antioxidant in particular is NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid). A feature of NDGA is its capacity to reduce melanin production. Melanin, generated by melanocytes in the skin through a process known as melanogenesis, involves the enzyme tyrosinase. NDGA disrupts this process mainly by inhibiting tyrosinase activity, thereby decreasing melanin production.
*Antimicrobial and antifungal effects
One of the most impressive qualities of creosote is its natural antimicrobial and antifungal properties. This makes it an excellent ingredient for those dealing with acne, minor skin infections, or fungal issues like athlete's foot. Its ability to combat harmful microorganisms can help maintain a healthy skin microbiome.
*Healing and soothing properties
Creosote has been traditionally used for its healing abilities, and modern skincare is tapping into this potential. It's particularly effective for: dry cracked skin, skin irritations, minor burns/sunburns and wound healing.
*Rich in vitamins
Creosote is a natural source of vitamins A and C, which are essential for skin health. Vitamin A helps with acne and dry or sensitive skin, while vitamin C is known for its brightening and collagen-boosting properties. These vitamins work together to promote overall skin health and radiance.
*Hydration and moisture retention
Products containing creosote, such as creosote salves or lotions, can be incredibly hydrating. The natural oils in creosote help create a barrier on the skin, locking in moisture and promoting a healthy, supple complexion.
