Early detection through colorectal cancer screenings (colonoscopies) can save lives!

Money raised at the event stays local to help remove barriers to screening for under and uninsured people, educate the public about early detection and screening, reduce financial burdens for patients, and fund research to help fight and end colon cancer.

Fast Facts about IBS from the American College of Gastroenterology:

-Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a problem with how your bowels work. They can have other problems like bloating, gas, or wanting to p**p more often.

-IBS is very common, with studies showing that 10-15% of people in the US have it.

-More common in women, with twice as many than men.

-If you have diarrhea or constipation, belly pain or discomfort, and/or bloating and gas you may have IBS! This is very treatable!

-Gastroenterologists are doctors specialized in GI disorders and are specifically trained to diagnose and treat IBS.

If the bathroom is ruining your life, or you think you might have a problem, make an appointment today!

In general, treatments for IBS are directed towards the patient’s main symptoms. There are a wide variety of treatment options.
